This picturesque fishing village dating from 1675. The Kullaberg peninsula is a place of great beauty and the views from the dining room are stunning across Skälderviken. Menu is predominantly organic with local produce imaginatively used. Here is Trout from Tjärö served with Languistine Dumplings in a dainty copper pan of stock, with turnip ribbons and pak choy. Desserts include rhubarb, with fennel meringue and soured cream ice, garnished with wafer thin dried rhubarb.

A fantastic array of delicious home mades cakes and wonderful seasonal window displays to tempt you. Skånsk spettkaka on sale – it has PGI status under EU law – open sandwiches of seafood, mini quiches and a plentiful supply of coffee. Celebrating a century here and retaining many original features it is a must to visit.
